2 issues yesterday are these connected?

We got in the car yesterday and moving from Park into Drive the parking sensors beeped constantly until reaching 10mph, it is doing this all the time now so know there is a faulty sensor but 10 mins into the drive with the radio on the volume doubled in sound and ALARM flashed up on the display, lasted for about 2 seconds and then went back to normal. Anyone experienced this before? Don't know if there could be an electrical fault or 2 separate issues.

Any thoughts welcome

Did you ever get to the bottom of the 'Alarm' and volume issue on your radio. The same happened to me yesterday.

i believe ALARM is referred to in the manual

i think its a nationwide service for ALARM BROADCAST, like the home office is broadcasting an emergency message over something
