Finished work at 04.30 this morning and when I went to my car I found a a jeep parked next to it, now i'm worried that there may have been some form of cross contamination I've given it a quick wash but will that be enough? what sort of symptoms should I be looking for? Common sense isn't very common.

If it's been contaminated the first sign is the steering wheel has moved.

I would suggest that you try the Elk test. If your car drives like the Jeep in the test video, better get rid of it as it is well and truly contaminated.
