How accurate is What Car valuations ??

According to "What Car" on-line valuations our 2014 SD4 SE Tech auto has a trade-in value of about £24K

Does that seem about right ? - its 25 months old with 19K miles and in excellent condition.

If so, then assuming an exponential depreciation, it approximates to a 3 year value of 63% which seems very high in this day and age. Jules

Probably because one of them is just giving valuations (and harvesting your contact details to pass on to 'selected' companies) and the other is actually serious about buying your car to sell on for a profit. That's a bit like going into a jewellers for a valuation on a piece of jewellery and then expecting them to pay you that price for the item! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
