no its just another company cashing in on the brexit scaremongering or a rise in price to give a false sale discount

Ram has always gone up and down wildly, it is a commodity, like oil it is actually plentiful but restrict supply, shove up prices and make hay. Sadly, that's capitalism. |

Largely yes, it is. If our currency loses around 20% of its value overnight, then it's inevitable. We have been protected from the worst of it so far, but as currency hedges run out and importers finally cave in under pressure, you'll see a lot more of this over the coming year. Those companies that don't pass on these sorts of cost increases will be amongst the first to go bust. If we see a rash of post Brexit protectionism, you'll see the prices on many imported goods rise again. |

Lots of profiteering going on - £ down about 15% against the median valued $ only about 10% against the euro and about 12% against the yen and the majority of international currencies.

The PSA/GM proposed merger looks like bad news for Vauxhall car workers and their supply chain. I can't see the French and German governments protecting British jobs given Brexit. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

It could make sense for the French and the Germans to have duplicated manufacturing facilities in the U.K. and mainland Europe as well. It could be a good hedge against currency fluctuations and a protection against future trade barriers and extremely long winded trade negotiations. Last edited by Tigger on 17th Feb 2017 4:43 pm. It's sad to see Blair flogging a dead horse here. He may be absolutely right, but he has no influence any longer and it's too late to pull us back from the brink now. It's like watching a slow motion train crash, it's just a shame that the 51.9% are dragging the 48.1% down with them. I feel especially sad for the people of Gibraltar and Scotland, who wanted no part in this and the people of Ireland who will need a hard border re-established. |

I've no problem with those that voted leave, but I have a serious problem with those who did not vote on the most significant issue to affect the nation for many generations. Nearly 30% of the electorate sat at home and obviously didn't care what the outcome would be . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
