OK we've finally got fed up of trying to find dog friendly hotels at short notice (due to work) so we're looking arounnd thinking of buying a campervan or motorhome (not caravan). I know the pros and cons of each but wondered what peoples thoughts were and any experiences. I like the VW California but its bloody expensive. Motorhomes are obviously bigger with more facilities but the thought of driving one around isn;t that appealing.
I'm 6'3'' by the way not sure if that would have any bearing. We'd prob be using it for long weekends away mostly. Was looking at the Mazda Bongo ......

Any help or advice welcome!
