Was watching telly this morning and they had an article about a free mobile service, https://uk.freedompop.com/uk?experience=organic.default , where a SIM card for a one-off payment of a fiver gets you a sim with 200 mins, 200 texts and 200mb data free each month. You can get extra data by watching adverts if you want. They do other paid for options which seem competitive too and it runs on the 3 network. Just ordered a sim for an old iPhone 5 we have here and if it all works okay I'll give it to the mother-in-scraw to replace the ancient PAYG BT phone box she carries around with her. I've seen similar schemes in the past that go out of business but maybe this one will continue as they are also selling paid for plans. Worse case, I lose a fiver! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Haven't recieved my sim yet, obviously, but by downloading the app on my iPad and spare iPhone and logging in, I can make and receive free calls on both. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
