Headlights

Hi Guys,

I have a quick question about the headlights on 2013MY Xenon with signature, and 2015 MY Metropolis Xenon with Signature.

I assume that These are directly interchangeable? As far as I can see, the only difference is the black reflector rather than the White reflectors.

Can anyone confirm if this is right?

Thanks Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Yes correct mav! I'm running MY15 xenon headlights. Initially I upgraded to the MY15 halogen and then to the MY15 xenon. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Excellent, so one out and one in!

I also assume that with mine, as I run Xenon as Standard, there will be no programming needed? Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Brilliant! Thanks Ed!

The part numbers I have for the Xenon headlights for the Metropolis are :-

LLR058367 and LLR58366

I assume that these also have the signature Strip like mine do? Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Yes Matt they will mate.

For the run out models MY15 there were only two headlamps available in the UK. One was halogen with signatures and the other was xenon with signatures.

I do not have the part numbers on hand at the moment will need to dig out the invoice.

PS make sure they are UK spec and not EU spec lamps. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Thanks Ed, if you could confirm the part numbers that would be great.

They are coming from a UK dealer and based on a UK Chassis number so all should be OK. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Are not the MY 13 on UK Zenon's the same as the EU as there is no adjustment or masking needed the beam being neutral? my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

The part numbers upon ordering mine were LR058367 & LR058366. Out of curiosity how much are yours setting you back? At the time mine were pricey Laughing

Also I was given a EU headlamp by mistake and I used my cousins metropolis chassis number when ordering the lamps. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

My 2011 HID lamps were far superior to the latest ones, the beam pattern and spread is rubbish in comparison, they changed manufacturers and the later one in my opinion is very poor.

I agree Taz. I think my old 56 plates adaptive Zeno s were better than the ones I have now.

But I have upgraded the bulbs in mine and they are much better.

I'll just be glad when mine goes in to be fixed Big Cry Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
