Yes, dealing with LR products on a daily basis, I explicitly did not want an Ingenium lump

Not a huge fan of the 9 speed box either, but having done a bit of reading on its inner workings, I can make my peace with it Thumbs Up

Lawyers are anticipating multiple class actions against car dealers over diesel particulate filter (DPF) issues

"There's been a lot of registrations from other manufacturers' vehicles such as Range Rovers or Land Rovers, Subarus, there's been a Porsche [and] there've been Volkswagens," Charles Bannister from Bannister Law said. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

My understanding is that there is no UK equivalent to the US "class actions". Each complainant must act individually and it is up to the courts to join together multiple claims - hence VAG got off light in the UK over the dieselgate scandal, compared to what happened to them in the USA. Jules

Ingenium engines are fine unless it’s the single turbo D180. They are nasty

Twin turbo D200-240 are fine. My Velar has been trouble free in that respect unlike my single turbo D5. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Australia is now starting class actions. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Not quite true, well in as much as with the VW fiasco there is a “group action” ongoing presently with three law firms and thousands of owners, presently looking like the law is on our side.

But then again......we’ll wait and see. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
