My understanding is that there is no UK equivalent to the US "class actions". Each complainant must act individually and it is up to the courts to join together multiple claims - hence VAG got off light in the UK over the dieselgate scandal, compared to what happened to them in the USA. Jules |

Not quite true, well in as much as with the VW fiasco there is a “group action” ongoing presently with three law firms and thousands of owners, presently looking like the law is on our side.
