It does look like a bonnet stop to me. Doesn't the air box also have rubber mountings that it sits on? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Hi, pretty sure it's the bonnet bump stop.

There should be one on each side of the bonnet in line with each headlight.

They thread into a hole on the underside of bonnet.

Found one of mine sat on the headlight a few days ago.

Yes and the Rubber mounts are all there, I'll have a search Friday and see what's missing, but then it's an 08 reg
so could have come from anywhere.
