Hello All,
The hose got stuck in customs for a few days but finally arrived today so fitted it and the Freel2 is now back on form, with full power and running without the whooshing noise

Also re-seated the solenoid that stops you going into reverse at speed, seems to need doing every 6 months or so on ours, next time will remove the surrounding console and and tighten up the spring contacts and maybe solder the crimps.

Would like to say a big thanks to all who have contributed to all the really useful info & help on the Freel 2 Forums, saving me a small fortune and giving me a feeling of great satisfaction after sorting the issues with m own hands!
