United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Narvik Black
Parking Sensor module

My sensors dont work front or back. Plugged them into a computer which stated that one of the rears was faulty. Replaced that with a new one (£85 from Land Rover - really????) and fault remains.
Got a second hand module from ebay and this doesnt seem to work at all.
All the wiring seems ok, does the module need coded to the car? I thought not.

Any further ideas before I undergo open wallet surgery at the stealers?

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

When talking over modern cars last week with Austen at Bell Engineering he said most electric units from scappers etc are not interchangeable as tend to be coded to car. That may be one of your issues. Big Cry The Censored have got us over a barrel. Banging Head FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Both mine died
turned out there was a fault with the front wiring loom, enough to drag the voltage down on the ecu, and therefore both sets of sensors.
Replaced front loom and everything started to behave.

No apparent fault with the loom, "new" one was from a scrapper, then again coding looms isn't a trick that the manufacturers have tried .....yet Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Alaska White

Hi new to forum having just moved on from P38 to 2010 Freelander 2 Question. It has rear parking sensors only at the moment but I have confirmed the module in the rear is fully wired into the main harness for both front and rear and dash switch. Can anyone tell me where the front parking sensor wiring loom connects. From the diagram its connector C11J/C11K but unlike the old Rave manuals the manuals do not have a component location section.

Any help appreciated before I start any needless additional wiring
