I only pay one supplier in the UK but can use a multitude of providers when abroad for no more than 5p per minute extra and from June 2017 it will be the same price throughout Europe as it is at home. Perhaps we'll get UK roaming then for UK based customers?

The chances are BG has a deal with all uk carriers that allows them to use their networks to transmit what will in effect be a tiny amount of data. Our mobiles on the other hand are designed and set to work primarily with whatever our SIM card says. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
