2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Firenze Red
Engine Performance reduced / Limp mode

Well it was bound to happen sooner or later
after 145000 miles my 2012 Freelander 2 XS has given me the first problem
Apart from Tyres and Brakes shes been good

Get the Message Engine Performance reduced
Normally stopping for a while and switching ignition on/off and starting again cured it
Yesterday it happened twice once as i left a roundabout and again when i tried to Rev away from some lights
It was fine all day today apart from when i pulled away quickly from some lights
then bang straight into limp mode
wont rev above 2.5K RPM and no power

Any ideas or experiences would be helpfull Freelander TD4 XS Zermatt Silver Sept 07. twin elec. LR tow bar, mudflaps.
