Jersey 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Fuji White
Fuji White 2.2 SD4 HSE

Been on the hunt for a Freelander a few months now for the wife.
She specifically wanted a White one and it had to be automatic.
After doing a bit or research on here we decided that it either had to be an XS or HSE.

We're based in Jersey, Channel Islands, so the selection over here is pretty poor and we got bored of waiting for one to turn up for sale so decided to go through the Approved Used network.
Found a car at Marshalls Peterborough that ticked all the boxes and actually a few more, like the 19" wheels and sunroof so did a deal on it over the phone.
It came over on the ferry Thursday night and picked it up Friday morning.
So far really pleased with it, a few little niggles but that goes with the territory of buying unseen over the phone.

Front brake discs haven't been replaced as i was told they would be but that is getting sorted.

Heated front windscreen has some sections not working, is this common and something i could get sorted under warranty?

Here's a few pics:

Haha thanks, it's practically falling off but will be on new number once it's re-registered over here and the spirit level will be coming out to!

Cracking example you got there Thumbs Up that leather wouldn't be practical for me it's far too cream, I'm a truck mechanic and my black leather is far more suitable for me Rolling with laughter

Yeh I guess the black leather would've been more practical but we really liked the contrast of the cream with the black dash and the way the leather matches the pillars and headlining.

I was slightly concerned that the cream might clash with the white exterior but it all works really well together and just makes it a bit more individual as the majority seem to be black leather.

Fortunately my wife isn't a truck mechanic!

Totally... The cream contrast is stunning don't get me wrong it's very nice and quite regal, but for me it takes a good two weeks holiday to stop the work grease and grime coming out of my pores ha ha ha

If I ever hit my head on my roof lining when I've finished work I don't know how I'll ever get it clean again Rolling with laughter FREELANDER 1 55 plate XS TD4 Had for 7yrs now sold 😢

Nice example. If you bought it under the approved used scheme, the windscreen element will be covered. You'll need a new screen so make sure they fit a OE one. Thumbs Up Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Thanks for positive comments.

Wife is loving the car........happy wife.....happy life!

Ordered some colour coded door handles from powerful uk, hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow.

Saw another Fuji white today with rear badges removed, thought it looked really good but not sure if I'm a bit to old to be de-badging cars! Always used to do it to my cars in younger days.

Taking the car down to Spain next week so be good to see how it performs on its first long run.
