Nick, I have had the window deflectors fitted, it makes having the window open whilst driving quieter, the booming sound goes away so no need to open another window. As for pictures shar
has them fitted on, with pictures also. I did buy the rears also but were not happy with the fitting of them, they just did not seem to fit quite right so after a couple of days I removed the rear ones. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Nick, The thud goes so thats one problem solved.
Price about £50 for the fronts and £30 for the rears.

http://www.climairuk.com

Fitting of the fronts just slot in no screws or clips, takes a bit of steady pressure you think that you will snap them but they will fit, instructions supplied, they fit in the window runner between the outer edge of the glass and the frame.

The rears, they have a bit of 3m type tape on the top edge and they just slot in the top of the door window runner channel and around two inches down the sides. I could not get them to seat quite right, they seemed a little to tight a fit and was causing the middle of the deflector to bow out slightly. Just was not happy with the fitting but by looking at the picture on sharn's gallery the ones there look fine.

On the instructions for the rears it does not actually say if they are handed so that may have been the trouble. I did email climair about it but it was to much trouble for them to reply but as I said earlier I was not 100% happy with the look of the rears.

But more pleasant driving especially if you are towing across the A64 near York incase any chickens are about and they just deflect down the side of the caravan. I know he will be looking at this post won't you cg. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

is the boom not heard at all if just the rear window is fully open?

Is the bright blue logo stamped on or is it a sticker,

and is the plastic clear or tinted Very Happy Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I will get back to you on the first question.
The logo is a sticker that you can carefully peal or gently scrape off.

Slight tint on the plastic, to be honest I don't notice they are there unless I look for them , they do blend in well. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Thinking about it, the front ones will not stop the booming when the rear is open but after just going out on a test run (I never knew the booming was so bad with a rear window open much worse than the front) just open a front one just slightly half an inch and it goes and you hardly realise your front window is open. I do expct that the rear deflectors fitted will stop the booming when the rear window is open but best ask shar for confirmation before parting with your hard earned.

Failing that press the large button on the drivers door the one just below the rear window buttons, it has a light on it, just press that before the three year olds get in and problem solved. Whistle p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
