Denmark 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
accessory position = ?

Need help to translate American text:
"Turn the vehicle's ignition key to the accessory position ..”
I think the meaning is that I should turn on the ignition without starting the engine?????
Correct/wrong?

I think its the first click of the key which turns on radio etc, second click turns on ignition, final turn starts engine,
