I was just wondering if we know how many FL2's were built? I've found some of the UK sales figures and data from www.howmanyleft.co.uk but that site only lists UK registered vehicles. I would guess Halewood built something like 500,000 to 700,000 FL2's for sale world wide? Did you Know in 2010 Land Rover Celebrated the Production of there 200,000th Freelander 2 by March 2012 they reached there 300,000th.
Based on Land Rovers sales Figures there were 337,310 Freelander 2 Sold world wide.

Hi thanks. I found the 200k and 300k online advertised on some motoring web site. But this got me thinking... I would expect the figures to be over well 400k due to the figures below for 2013 and 2014, when added to the 300k. Just a bit surprised I can't find the total from any Freelandering history online.

On page 195 of Land Rover Series 1 to Freelander (2nd edition) it quotes "...Market forecasts showed that more Freelander 2 sales could be expected than those ever achieved by Freelander 1 (which had, at times, been built at the rate of 70,000 units per year)...

Hence wondering what the final FL2 build count was. I think finding the FL1 build count will be more difficult. You never know what gems of info people may have on here.
