What's the procedure for a warranty claim

What's the procedure for a warranty claim when you have a FL2 with the approved used 2 year warranty? Do you just turn up at a main dealer and show them the problems and they agree to fix it (at a later date) if it's covered under warranty or does it need to be considered for approval by LR?

Driver seat electric memory button doesn't work (1 of 3), driver seat feels as if the rear base section padding towards the rear is sinking a bit, rear passenger grab handle moves up/down in roof panel and one of the doors sounds strange when shutting compared to the others. All minor problems but items I assume would be better looked at earlier than later. Hippo's videos - Honorary Tratterer

All I did was ring the main dealer up, tell them the fault and then get it booked in for the repair. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

If its a LR warranty, its as hinchy says.

Quick phone call, book it in, you may even get a loaner while its off the road, just ask when you book it in. (not when you take it in). Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

or if it's a driveability issue you can call out LR Assist. I have called them out for rear diff noises, gearbox noises and hesitation. They will have a look at the diagnostics and book it in and arrange a hire car to be ready for you. I have even done this when my windscreen washers packed up on the grounds that it's illegal to drive without them. If you give the guy coffee and biscuits you can also have a chat about any other aspects of your car whilst they are there. I have found them very useful, more use than the dealers actually. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
