Rear wiper stopped working

So the rear wiper on my 07 LR2 stopped working, a couple of weeks ago, typically on the motorway in heavy rain, suddenly noticed it stuck vertically and not much vison behind. When I got back home it was very difficult to move into the park position, and on removing the rear panel the motor was very hot. so pulled the fuse as well.
I fitted a new assembly this weekend, and decided to strip the old one to see why it stopped.
The photo speaks for itself. Rusted solid, how it worked and got how it got so bad is a mystery.

Amazing how a "sealed" unit can get so bad - has there been a leak at the rear or could it just be condensation? No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

the eastern European car cleaners broke mine somehow, the wiper just rotates 360deg now (with resistance) but doesn't work on the switch at all.
Ill need to find time to strip it down and probably have to fit a replacement.

Whats the best place to get a new complete wiper motor unit from ? I know there are other makes that will also fit but unsure as to the best option.???

I bought an original replacement through Ebay, it was about £80 though.
