Interesting reading. Whilst a new ice age is more than likely OTT, we did have the cold winters of 08/09, 09/10 & 10/11 around the time of the last solar minimum. This coming solar minimum is predicted to be lower still than previous minimums. Perhaps the lowest since the Maunder Minimum or Dalton Minimum.
