I believe I need the MY13+ seat memory module as suggested by 3disco on the topic. Maybe someone can confirm this. I would also help if you could take a pictures of the module to see the code and try to find out if it is compatible with the MY15. I could only find modules for earlier Freelanders on the web.

Just remember that the plugs / sockets are totally different pre 13my so it’s not possible to fit a 13my module because it certainly is not plug and play unless you have access to the later plugs and know how to rewire it.

My Freelander is MY15 and what I did was to replace the controls, wiring, electric motors (the MY07 electric memory seat had diferrent motors because they had extra wires-encoder) and to add the seat memory module. All this was plug and play but the controls operate the seat in hope.
3disco, please tell me what will I need in order to make the electric seat to work? Do I need to replace all the motors, wiring, controls, module or is it possible to buy the module and rewire it?

Sorry can’t help you with that as it was not that much of a problem as I was the only one driving so sent the my13 seat ecu back to the dealers,when I sold the car I changed the seats back to the original manual version and sold them on the forum to a member who had a pre 13my car and they worked perfectly.

Can anybody tell me the difference between 6 way and 8 way memory seats? I guess the 8 way refers to the lombar support?
I have ordered the wiring for a 8 way memory seats (LR018319) and hope they will work on my car as I have bought a 8 way memory module from a Evoque but still need the wiring to make them work.
