Hopefully... Drives as normal and no messages so must've been something kicked up. It was loud though |

Check the ride height as it may be a broken Spring, I broke a spring moving in the drive. |

Do you still have drive to the rear? I had similar and it was a broken driveshaft (inside the diff) and there was no message or external sign, just a faint rattle on the overrun. Dealer that rebuilt the diff reckoned they'd not assembled it correctly. |

No difference in drive or anything. 3rd service soon so will see what they say. If a problem-warranty, but I would have expected it to drive differently..on acceleration etc |

I did not see any difference in normal driving, just a tendency to spin a front wheel on a sharp take off in the wet, which should not normally happen. Should be able to check on service. |

Will ask them specifically to check rear drive then when I book it in in a few weeks..not sure if that's a normal check on a service |

Booked in for next month... but there was the suggestion of a £95 investigation charge to look !! Its still in Warranty for gods sake and surely they should check such things on a service !!

You can check the rear drive yourself. Just find a muddy field and put your boot down. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |

Is it being serviced at the place where you bought it? I always go to the dealer that I bought the car from for servicing and have had numerous problems investigated without a charge. As it's under warranty you could call out LR Assist and say that there was a big bang at the back end and you are worried about driving it. I have had them out a few times and very helpful. If they find a problem they will book it in and arrange a courtesy car, 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Yep.. Never been anywhere else so am a loyal customer! I personally think it's fine as I'm sure I would notice something. Maybe the bang was something moving inside the car. It was 2 weeks ago now. Never called lr assist before. I'll think about it |
