Its gonna get better

I think the UK is going to be alright in the end as Ive just watched Top Gear and it was much better - to the point in fact where I actually enjoyed it.

Then I watched Top Gear Extra and that was good too. Very Happy Jules

I thought yesterdays was the weakest yet.

The verdict of the Telegraph - "Top Gear episode 5: the dullest episode yet?"

I tend to agree, although the only thing saving the first episode from that dubious accolade was that it at least featured a Land Rover.

I haven't seen 'Extra' yet.

I was in the 'hadn't quite made my mind up' camp and thought it was improving. After last nights episode, I'm leaning towards TopGexit! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

I thought it was easily the best yet. The real weakest link is definitely Chris Evans. I fast-forwarded the "celebs" section but thoroughly enjoyed the rest, particularly the Rolls Royces. How can such a prat as Evans have such good taste in motors? That Corniche is sublime. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto
Tricia's - 2006 Royal Blue Beetle Cabriolet Auto
Mine - 2014 Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport Matt Black

South Africa road trip was easily the best yet for me - only one I'd consider verging on good (albeit with too much silliness). And that Cornice just reminds me of a barge. That and Jimmy Saville...

But you're right about Evans and the 'celeb' spot - why can't he do a proper chat rather than the tedious first car / best car stuff.
