Haven't done this or researched it myself, but I suspect that it means using JLR SDD and a recognized cable or a GAP iid tool or the likes to 'marry/register' the sensor to the controller/system. I am pretty sure that it can't be done with a icarsoft reader but I could be wrong.

Will do. Tried fitting it blind and then with the iCarsoft - clearing the error messages and the car didn't recognise the system at all so garage it is - will keep you posted.
