Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Mauritius Blue
Auto box judder.

I seem to have a judder developing on my auto box when first used on a morning. I have to climb a steep incline within 200 yards of McSimmo manor, and I'm sure there is a judder from the auto box, which seems to go when the engine and gearbox are warmed up.
Its a 2013 SD model with 13,000 on the clock.

Is this a known fault? Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

Not necessarily, if the juddering is light. In the end the transmission oil is cold and its viscosity is high.
Problematic is when juddering appears after warming up.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Galway Green

Mine appears when cold and still happens long after it has warmed up (see my post two days ago entitled Cha Cha Cha). I have very little warranty time left and would like to understand it as best as possible before i go in to talk to them so am interested to see what people say on here.
