I would just like to say how impressed I've been with the entire experience of buying my first Land Rover. Steve at this place was polite, frank and honest and seems like a real genuine guy.
I had a 15 mile test drive, followed by a lovely coffee, fairly straightforward negotiations and came to what I thought was a very fair deal on my low mileage (25k) 2010 FL2 SD4 HSE.

They arranged for the rear windows to be blacked out in privacy glass, a great valet and polish was done and on collection, £40 worth of fuel put in the tank as well.
Well impressed guys, give them a try sometime. Thumbs Up

2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Ipanema Sand

Welcome to the forum.

Nice looking F2 but that one will need a lot of cleaning in that colour Thumbs Up Laughing .

Same wheels as mine, the look of which is growing on me, minor corrosion (blistered paint only at the moment) to one of mine will need sorting out soon though.

Windows on yours don't look very blacked out.

Hi Gadge and thanks for the welcome.

That was before they were blacked out. I need to take it out and get some fresh pictures now. I've been busy fitting some bargains I've found recently....... A virtually new (used once and 3 months old) towbar with single electrics for £80, a genuine Land Rover full height dog guard for £45 and a genuine Land Rover full boot liner for £29, and finally a full set of front and rear genuine mud flaps for £25 as well. All off EBay.

The dog is going to be happy in his new place, he just needs to learn to jump higher! Lol

Bought a second hand Range Rover from Fews many years ago when we lived that way - always had fantastic service and everyone was very knowledgable - it's a real pity these family owned an run businesses are being forced out of the network by the big spend demand for flash showrooms by manufacturers which give rise to high hourly rates and the showrooms that all look the same - sterile with no character- soon it will the big players only Sad

Having worked for T H White for 34 years, I know lots about the demands asked/expected of dealers. You are right, it is very sad that these family run business's are not looked after by the ever demanding 'grow at any cost' manufacturers! Neutral

They are now 'Land Rover' agents, and as such can do warranty work! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.
