Long time no speak chaps?? Hope you all doing fine the old and the new! Glad to see I'm still only as far as page 2 on maximum posts!!! Well after handing back my manual FL2, and LR swapping it after 10 months for a new auto, that started over heating when towing our caravan. Ditched that for a Disco 4 which was a dud. Bought another new one HSE best car ever. Sold the caravan, bought an Evoque which has had couple of niggles, but done under warranty otherwise great little motor. Now that the Jag F-Pace has launched I'm going for one of them after placing deposit last November. Didn't want launch cars after grief of first FL2 I had. Hopefully Fit n finish issues are now sorted, so for the old crew if any still here that's what I've been upto since moving on. Be interesting to see if any olds.....Npinks, avtur, Chicken George are still about??

FL2 auto did struggle with van, coming up slight gradient in M1 past Luton kept over heating within seconds as an Audi A4 plus van would overtake me!!!! Disco 4 plus van was another storey!!! Fooking awesome car!!!!! Best ever except for P11D!!! Crippling!!!! Hence Evoque.....with every Lux pack and sensible option wade, mirrors, adaptive, lux pack, chrome alloys, Aeroflip spoiler, heated rear seats privacy blah blah totally just shy of £50k is a great motor......THEN THE GORGEOUS F-PACE arrived for Aug Sept collection. First Edition 250 in stunning blue have spec so held back and spent same money on pleb grey plus loads!!!!!!!!! Of options!!! You know me, carried away !!! 66 Plate Jag FPace delivered ......

The F-Pace arrived early and caught me with my knickers down! Sold the Evoque to first guy to view it and got £3K more than dealer offered at trade :so Kerching!!
Picked it up on Friday and within 70 miles the InControl Pro system which is a £2500 option!!! stopped access to the surround camera and would not eject the cd I had loaded! Aaaarrrggghhhhh!!!!!! That aside guys n gurls.....it is F'ing awesome!!!! Handling is incredible for an SUV!!!! Smashes the EVOQUE INTO THE KERBS!!! Stick it in Dynamic mode with 22" wheels and torque vectoring and it defies gravity and physics!!!! It is so big inside!!! Don't know how JLR have done it??
