Just got back from a great week towing an off-road camper trailer for the first time.

Took the Oberon Stock Route to Yerranderie and the Bridle Track to Hill End. Both are advisory "No Trailers" and I can see why. Luckily we didn't meet anyone on the winding single track sections cut into the hillside!

Freelander TD4 performed very well - I won't say we didn't know there was a lump following us - but we didn't lack the power to tackle the rough bits. Only casualty was the anti-rattle bolt on the removable tow hitch which wasn't up to the shake/rattle/roll of the track and parted company with us.

I have some pictures - but none of the really hairy bits because my wife/co-driver was too busy praying at the time.
