Been on the forum for a little while now soaking up all your knowledge...!

Finally took the plunge and bought from a local garage last Friday - 2007 model with 80,000 on the clock GS spec in Zermatt Silver.

Threw her straight into a proper road test over the weekend - London to Salcombe for two nights, then Salcombe to Cornwall for two nights and then back up to London (nearly 700 miles over the whole weekend)!

Touch wood so far so good! Perfectly pleasant at motorway speeds and a very comfortable drive.

Annoyingly a slight 'whine' manoeuvring which hadn't been evident on two test drives - going to attempt the PAS reservoir change this weekend and hope for the best.

Any other advice for a car of this age - appreciate it is approaching the pricey 10 year service....

Congratulations. One of mine gets it's ps reservoir/filter changed every service because for some reason it clogs constantly, the other one (both 2009 XS) remains fine! LR's huh? lol.
