First propper offroad trip approaching...

Hi all.
Hopefully I'll be hitting some green lanes on Sunday (if my mate gets his Defender back from the garage in time Whistle )
Anyone got any tips/hints for taking the FL2 off the beaten track? I'm not going to be going mentally off roading, just a few relatively mild green lanes up in the NY Moors. I'm more than aware my FL2 won't go quite where the Defender will, I think I could still surprise myself though!
I've got a few decent tow ropes and shackles incase we need to recover anything. Planning on taking a spade/shovel and usual tools just incase aswell.
Cheers,
Steven

Camera Thumbs Up

You'll be surprised at what it can do, ground clearance is your enemy, watch for ruts and keep your wits about you...enjoy.

I'm taking a mate as a passenger and delegating him camera man Laughing
I've got sump and tank guards fitted (from a company called Rival, seem quite good actually!) so should be ok in that department!

Well, I didn't get out today. Unfortunatley yesterday I decided to fall into a little beck and dislocate my shoulder, how clever of me Rolling Eyes
So no driving for at least a few weeks I expect, gutted! Sad
