Hi all

I have changed the letters on the bonnet to black but now wish to change the rear ones to match. I can find the replacement letters for 'freelander 2' and the td4 bit but I can't find the slightly smaller letters to fill the 'Land Rover' on the old style boot handle. There are letters showing already but they are cut out of the handle rather than stuck on - I would like to fill these with black letters.

Does anybody have an idea?

Wide tape, coloured to suit application. Put over, then with sharp scalpel cut the inner edges.
I am doing this with mirrored ali tape, but have no photos.

I had thought of doing that but i really want something that will stand out a few mm like the bonnet letters do. Unfortunately the bonnet letters are just ever so slightly too large for this handle.

I could, of course, buy the new style tailgate handle and upgrade it...

that's what ive just done with mine.
to me, the grey plastic short handle with embossed lettering just looked dated now and so I bought a facelift handle from powerfuluk already colour coded and got a body shop to fit it as I didn't want to mess up drilling the new holes required.

You can get them on a certain auction site  Back in black !!
