Replacing Car Battery

Hi,

I have a 2007 FL2 2.2l with a push button engine start / stop. My battery is dead and I believe I need to get it replaced. I was all set to do it myself until I read in the manual that I needed the start/Stop button reset by Land Rover approved electronics.

I'm not that mechanical (using the hays manual I can do things up to about 2 spanners level!) so could anyone advise me whether I can reset the button myself or where it is best to get it reset by the Land Rover Garage or Halfords (from a cost and availability pov)?

I live in the Kingston / Surbiton area and need it sorted quickly as I need it for the weekend.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think you need to reset the start stop button, just swap tha batteries and it should start?

Don't worry about it, the car will start and run fine.
Re-calibration (at garage or its automatically done) is only for start/stop later models.
