I use HawkEye, does most things ie engine OBD, airbag, service reset, body controller, transmission, steering wheel calibration.

I have a blue tooth elm 327 bought on ebay for a few quid, you can download an obd2 reader and reseter to your smart phone, just got car scanner pro for £1.49 for my windows phone. That allows you to read the eroors, reset them, and monitor the ecu during driving. |

I did the same as dave 500 all be it got the software from Google play. Works well.
