My 2007 went into reduced performance and it was a clogged air filter. Freelander 2 HSE TD4 2007 |

I agree the t.h. it's the first suspect, directly followed by the throttle body: if you don't hear-from the fronside of the engine- the high pitched sound when you turn the engine off, and/or you hear some kind of grinding plastic theeth, the TB needs to be replaced |

Or fuel filter or exhaust gas temp sensor, I would start by checking when the fuel filter was last changed. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Thanks for all your help so far..I think my jeep is 10k over its service.i only bought it a month ago..no noise from the turbo pipe when I switch off..
