Long story short, my daughter popped out of her office last June to go to lunch and was subjected to a completely random and unprovoked assault by a couple of drunk/drugged girls in the middle of the day in the middle of the City of London.

Sorry to hear about the attack but pleased that the offender was dealt with. In my experience of working in the Criminal Justice system for the last 8 years, I can tell you that although it is possible to appeal against the sentence, it is unlikely to happen.

Whilst I am saddened to hear what happened, I'm glad there was a conviction for her assailant. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018
