When I replaced the rubbers I put a few coats of good wax on the edges then Waxoyl over the top off that,also soaked the ends of the rubbers in Waxoyl before fitting them. |

If i whould have known it is a weak spot i would spray inside with those sticky corrosion protection oil.

Mine are just the same and I need to replace all the rubbers, and ideas of where to get some rubber trims from?

Removed mine this afternoon and everything is fine , I'm leaving them off . The arch lips will get some bilt hamber clear underbody wax on .
