Check your wheels arches

I found out a week ago that on the rear wheel arches below the rubber the rust is all over, on one arch a chunk of the metal just fell off.
check yours, i am sure it is pleging a lot of FL2
I am now treating it by myself, in the pic below is the rust after a coat of rust neutralizing.

When I replaced the rubbers I put a few coats of good wax on the edges then Waxoyl over the top off that, also soaked the ends of the rubbers in Waxoyl before fitting them.

If i whould have known it is a weak spot i would spray inside with those sticky corrosion protection oil.

BTW, when i removed the rubber i did not see any rust but the color was bloated from the rust underneath.
After the rust neutralizing i put a coat of zinc filler and when it will dry i will paint it.

Mine are just the same and I need to replace all the rubbers, and ideas of where to get some rubber trims from?

I assume the dealers will cost an arm and a leg!
