United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

Barcelona, is very good for a short trip.
Munich is indeed a good town, I left there with a fine hangover Laughing

Been here a few times https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bergamo, mainly as a stopover when visiting Italian lakes but its a great little town, you can easily visit Milan if your into huge churches fashion shops and expensive cafes.

If you choose Bergamo take a big case as you will want to buy all the food in the local delis, amazing selections, At work

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Firenze Red

Lisbon is a decent place for a short trip. Easy to get round - cheap transport system so day trips out to places like Cascais and Sintra are easy. Plenty of bars, good food, warm weather.......Porto is good too but not sure if you can fly direct from North of the border? FL No 1 - 2012 (MY2011) XS manual Firenze Red - Gone

Nice is nice Laughing and good value for the area. Take the public bus to Monaco for Euro 1.50 each way (2015 price), it drops off right outside Monte Carlo casino, the coast road views are fabulous - sit on right hand side of bus going.
Also worth a day trip is the train to Cannes, also good value due to subsidised public transport (UK probably contributes via EU) or narrow gauge Train des Pignes up into Alps

Rome is a must if you have not been before. Have been a lot of city breaks in the last 15 years and this was the one that stood out for me. Best part was actually just walking through random streets (kept getting lost) and stumbling across markets, piazza's etc rather than all the main attractions.

Went to Iceland a few months back and that came a close second to Rome. Stayed in Reykjavic but didn't see much of it as spent most of our time touring (2200Km in 4 days) so not really a city break.

Rome was much cheaper than Reykjavic and nowhere near as expensive as expected. Limo from the airport was £3 more than a taxi, a no brainer and as long as your not eating steak every night the food is cheap/reasonable, though exchange rate was better then.
