Unlike our Evoque, we put any old stuff in our Golf - supermarket fuel or whatever station we are near when it needs filling - we've never put any of the more expensive blends in this car. A tankful lasts us a couple of months in ours anyway as it's not used that much. What is good is that when we do fill it, it shows over 500 miles before empty. I wish the Evoque would show that! Run of the mill Shell will do then. Garage is just up the road. I must say I only every got 300 and something miles out of the ST so a big difference on the way on that front. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Well I picked it up yesterday and very pleased with it. All the scratches and wheels were done as promised, new cambelt, serviced, 1 new tyre and MOT done

Looks a nice tidy one and yes, they do feel a lot more solidly built than a Ford. You'll now understand the Golf advert when they are trying to sell a car (not a Golf) and when they shut the door, they say "It sounds like a Golf! If it's the same as ours, you can plug an iPod into it (in armrest) and control it all through the radio. Trouble is, you need an iPod 'classic' I believe but I think you can get adaptors. Indeed. I have an adaptor ready to deploy and I see there is some facility for handsfree for the phone. Presumably there is an add on kit available for purchase. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
