Talk about using a syringe to take fluids out of Haldex on topping up.

As said above, eBay. I had a 100ml, came with an adapter to fit tubing to. Used aquarium air line tubing. I left the tubing fairly long so that while I was emptying the syringe some oil could siphon out. Every little helps. I didn't change the filter as I hadn't looked at the filter kit enough to realise that the end cap that is held on with the Allen screws is only a cover for the actual cap which is nylon and has an O ring on it. You'll need to remove that to get to the filter. The oil I got out was filthy so I'm going to have to get another litre from Volvo and go through the procedure again, this time being a bit more brutal to get to the filter. As said in another thread, "jam a screwdriver in". |
