OLD PARTS WANTED

I am starting a new hobby, I like tinkering and sharing ideas with other members, my idea is to start with troublesome LR parts hopefully improving them as we go along.

At the moment I am starting with door locks hatch locks and window motors, probably limit to these anyway. .
And I wondered if any members would donate their old non working items.

If you get the main dealer or mechanic to replace them simply ask for the old unit back. (good practice to make sure you are getting what you paid for anyway).
I will get the items (postage paid) collected from you.

I don't want to make a business of this just a hobby maybe we can help each other making the replacement parts and instructions available through this forum.

Good idea, but I usually bin the old things, also main dealers dont like giving you the old part back, we need to sent it back for appraisal type of excuses, and when the part is hidden from view normally one wonders if they did ever renew it or just get the old one working again and charge for a new one, they dont want to get found out like.

If I get anymore old worn out bits I will hang on to them then. Thumbs Up
