United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Orkney Grey
cabin Noise

Really pleased with my SD4 compared to my old td4 with one exception. I get a lot of tyre noise in the cabin at speeds over 50mph - shod with Pirelli Scorpio on 18inch wheels. Had Goodyear M&S on the last car without this perceived problem. Will a change of tyres, in due course, solve the noise problem? MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

My 2013 SD GS came with standard 17" wheels and Goodyear Wrangler, I later fitted a set of 18" Evoque wheels with new Pirelli Verde, an immediate all round improvement with handling and tyre noise.
Now after about 18k on Pirellis (now 1/2 worn) I agree tyre noise is definitely becoming more pronounced. All FL2's (3) Gone
