Questions regarding ICE in td4 S model

According to my car's vincode I've got "In Car Entertainment / Speakers - Base Ice [025KN]". It's a 2008 td4 S. I need to know more about my audio system. I can't seem to find enough information on it. How many watt is there? How many speakers? How deep and how big are the speakers? Are there any tweeters for the rear door speakers?

I have played around with electronics and HiFi for many years and the thing I have noticed is that more and more people measure sound level using Watts. The problem is that loudspeakers are very inefficient (like 1-2%) and vary tremendously across manufacturers. Even the 1000W amps driving subs are only delivering a few watts of audio power otherwise you would be deafened. The real question is "is it loud enough for you?" 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I have no idea what wattage the Alpine Premium sound system kicks out, but with a 13:1 Dolby Digiatal surround system it is definitely loud enough for me if I want and the quality is excellent (to my untrained unmusical ears)

I have the same spec vehicle, and the speakers are utter rubbish, listen to classic fm and the speakers distort very badly.
I do have plans to replace the entire head unit for a dual DIN nav with rear view system from Clarion, and was wondering if its worth upgrading the speaks in advance?
Its easy enough to remove the door cards so not averse to getting a pry bar, screwdriver and wire cutters out!
