I bought a cheapo camera last year from Amazon as I did not want an expensive model (saved that for the main dashcam). It was an E-Prance and was fine on the picture quality but it died the other month and I binned it with a view to replacing it at some point.

Well theres good and bad with everything i suppose, some folk will get a Friday afternoon one and some get one that goes on forever, ive had my FL2 for just over a year and had no issues but i know some have had them pack up already, price isnt always a factor either,

Mine failed gradually. It went through a phase of the screen going all manky and the whole unit had locked up. Unplugging it until it switched off solved this but it became more frequent until one day just a blue screen! Oh well! I best hold fire until the new motor arrives in any case. Need 2 12v sockets after all. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

Transcend drive pro 200 from Halfords , get an interweb price and they'll match it . Mine cost around £78 and I'm very happy with it .

Just checked it out and its the same one I had but with a different name obviously. I have seen that same camera a lot but with different names on it so it is obviously mass produced for various manufacturers/traders. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
