Salut Paul,

I'm not sure there's a video or a comprehensive tutorial showing how to to this.

Can't you let a pro mechanic do it for you ? it's easier and safer ...

There is actually, on U-tube but it's in Russian.
It's a rather "professional" workshop also, not a backyard mechanics.

The diff is reasonably easy to remove but you will have to make a couple of tools to do it .First you will need a clamp to remove the axles from the diff ,they are locked in by a spring clip and need a good hit on the clamp to release them and also to re fit them . You will also need to fabricate a bracket to bolt onto a car jack and to the diff where the mounting bracket is .The rest is easy just remove the muffler unbolt the diff and lower it making sure that you support the axles as they disengage the diff ,also mark the tail shaft joint so that it goes back in the same position . You can put the vechicle on car ramps as there is no need to take the wheels off however it makes unbolting the tailshaft flange a bit difficult ,you will need several socket extensions with universal joints .
good luck Doug
