England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Santorini Black

dynamic came with the sports body kit, 19'' alloys, two tone leather seats....... and probably a bit more

not sure which model it was based on but there are several Dynamic owners on here.

LRNUT probably knows the most about the spec levels as his has every accessory that LR ever made that could fit it Laughing

whats strange about that is that I have a dynamic with loads of the features of the HSE / HSE lux ie

reversing camera
front parking sensors etc etc
sunroof

however when I look at the option packs i think I have the dynamic plus pack apart from the xenon headlights and headlight leveling

could this be ?

Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4_e Dynamic Manual Fuji White

The Dynamic model sat in between an XS and HSE hence why it was priced inbetween these two specs. One thing that made it stand out against the pack was the factory body styling pack along with the gloss black front grill and side vents which makes the car look really planted with an aggressive presence on the road.

The XS came with 17" alloys, manual seats, halogen headlights and no front or rear arm rests. (Later XS models did come with Led signature).

The HSE came with 18" alloys electric seats, bhalogen headlights with LED signatures, front + rear armrests, footwell lamps and puddle lamps, front map lights, heated steering wheel and a pano roof.

The Dynamic came with 19" alloys, factory body styling pack, tailgate spoiler, electric seats, halogen headlights with LED signatures, front + rear arm rests. Footwell lamps and puddle lamps, front map lights.

All 3 specs had the meridian sav with 380W ICE system.

From memory this is what I recall the major differences in the models above.

I purchased a brand new Dynamic and specced it out with;

- ebony pimento leather reserved only for the Dynamic models - very rare colour combo.
- grand black lacquer pack
- cold climate pack (heated windscreen & washer jets)
- rear camera with hitch assist
- memory seats
- heated steering wheel
- full size spare
- raised roof rails with cross bars
- coded door mouldings
- coded rear D pillars
- gloss black rear tread plate
- fixed height tow bar with twin electrics
- body styling pack moulded mudflaps (made in Germany OEM fit) LR never made mudflaps for her.
- OEM bonnet guard
- OEM wind deflectors

This is how my car left the dealership on the 1st March as a 14 plate vehicle. It attracted a lot of attention as picked it up later on in the day. The salesman and even receptionist said at seperate times said that other customers who had picked up there new cars were wondering what spec it actually was. Some freelanders owners assumed that the coded door mouldings and D pillars were new changes for the MY14 year.

The Dynamic plus pack was a £2,500 factory option only. I had it on my order then removed it then re added it then removed it again Laughing

Dynamic Plus Pack – consists of power adjustable, heated powerfold exterior mirrors with approach lamps, memory function and auto-dipping in reverse gear. Electric panoramic sunroof (sliding front glass and fixed rear glass). Xenon headlamps with LED signature lighting and automatic headlamp levelling. Front row memory seats. MeridianTM Audio System (825W) with 17 speakers. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Picking up Dynamic

Hi first post just joined. Will shortly be taking possession of my first ever Landrover / 4x4 will be gutted to say goodbye to my current pride and joy, 335d SE coupe but we have 4yr and another on the way so missus said have to get rid Big Cry however at least she is keen on a 4x4 not an MPV. After ages looking saw something really liked and bit the bullet , seems to have extras over and above normal Dynamic, I was doing the 'trying to work out how much it would of cost new / what were the options added by original owner' by looking e-brochure however it has an option I can't find any info on and was hoping someone here may be able to help ? the full spec is below and the particular item is 'SPV ANNIVERSARY PACK' also it seems weird that the owner didn't just go for the plus pack ? Love the look of the car and confess that the 'planted' stance someone referred to earlier is what sold it to me.

Taking Delivery

Picked up car yesterday and whilst still a wrench px my old car am very happy with the Freelander (Dynamic) and missus absolutely loves it, and given seal of approval from daughter (4yrs) also, who was amazed with view she now has of the outside world perched in her car seat Very Happy One thing I noticed thou was on the back doors, one side worse than other, when opening and closing the 'body kit' seems to catch on the side step and drag . Dealer is going to hopefully 'adjust' next week but am wondering if this is common and exactly what 'adjust' means ! Do they cut the bottom of the door trim (i wouldn't be too keen on that !) Or bend the side step away (also not too keen on that either !). Any info of what to ask for / look out for appreciated from anyone who has info / experience of this issue. Thank you.

The bodykit is held on with plastic studs and 3M tape so not much of a job to take off and refit, how this will adjust is another thing, perhaps easier to take off side step and refit in a slightly different position? Whatever they do keep and eye on the bodykit part in question, several years ago a dealer took my rear passenger door skirt off and refitted it, 24 hours later and 1 door shut later it fell off, luckily it landed on my foot so didn't scratch it. Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
Gone - 2014 BMW X3 M Sport Space Grey, faultless!
Gone - 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Bali Blue with xenons
Gone - 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Rimini Red with bodykit

I took the car in to get the adjustment and when the mechanic brought it back he presented me with a 'fait accompli' stating that he had 'cut' a strip off the rear of both side steps which means the side step is slightly lower and doesn't catch any more which is great but the step now has a bit of give when you put your weight on it. He's adamant that this won't compromise its integrity and it is still safe will not become detached as the step is secured by other bolts. He also stated that the steps aren't really supposed to be fitted with the Dynamic body kit. Anyone else experienced the same / had the same mod carried out ? Thanks.

Load of cobblers if you ask me! I've fitted Cobra side tubes on mine and they are over 3" in diameter and they don't catch! Take a look at the broucher that Taz provided in the link earlier. In the accessories section it clearly states next to each accessory if it's NOT compatible with the sports styling pack. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
