I have seen an immaculate gs model I would consider buying, but,would it be possible to upgrade the seats etc to electric,leather seats,the doorcards should be ok,or would the electrics prove a problem.

Yes its possible, I believe the seats are a straight swap but any electrics will depend on if your GS has the seat wiring loom or not.

Theres a few on here have done the upgrade, have a search for the threads some of which have full details on how to do it

My13 on the electrics change so if yours is earlier make sure you get the earlier seats especially if they are memory as all functions will not work correctly.

I did the full Leather interior [electric seats plus doorcards] to my MY11 GS [had factory heated, manual cloth seats].
Was absulutely fine, just plug n play for me.

But I do believe some did have issues around the heated seat [where it wasn't fitted as standard].
