When buying a Freelande2 what options do you consider to be essential and why

Heated front screen and Xenon headlights 10/10

Reasons are obvious in Winter and a right pain if you dont have them.

Id rather do away with the sound system if there was a choice of something else instead, really important, oh like a heated steering wheel.

Having both is much better though...

If you want to own a Freelander there are only three requirements as far as I am concerned.

1. a decent warranty
2. a decent warranty
3. a decent warranty 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

1. Leather, heated seats.
2. Sunroof-not to use as a sunroof but the extra light transforms the interior.
3. Premium Pack-colour coded sills and that little spoiler make a big difference to the appearance!

The best driving aid on the car, one that I'd never had before, is the automatic dipping door mirrors when you're reversing. Couple that with the big, clear mirrors and you get the best car to drive backwards that I've ever had. That's important when towing the caravan or having to reverse on our many single-track Cornish lanes.
