No, I had them done professionally by a body shop. Very happy with finish, better than the OE parts!

Yes LRNUT, I was also thinking that but I've had it done for at least 6 weeks now and there is no reflection/dazzle. As I'm in Australia I doubt you'd have any issue what so ever. But make when you get it done that they are aware where this part goes as you will see any imperfection. I'm happy to say the people who did mine did an excelent job, it like a mirror. Photo doesn't do justice it really looks good, go for it! |

Agree it does look nice if I was to go down this route I would have the gear stick surround in gloss black also. Is the handle for the glove box easy to remove?

Ed, I was tempted by the front bumper cover, but reckoned the cost was too great for what it is, so passed on it.

Hey LRNUT! The glove box latch is real easy, especially with your skills of modification 3 screws on the rear of the lid and that it. It's a bit of a riggle to get out but it comes out.

Ron I did not tell you to buy these. My intial link was for chrome lamp guard surrounds which I would have painted in gloss black before I had fitted them. It a shame the LR will never offered lamp guards MY13 onwards

Oops RONP, Electric seat position covers are from Aliexpress. There's 2 types, Matt chrome and Chrome. I got both as I wasn't sure but ended up fitting the shinny chrome as it's best match for centre transmission tunnel finish.

Cheers Stuart the glove box handle is tempting. If you have front tints then this will minimise the glare of the gloss black trim infront of the sat nav. Sadly we cannot tint our front windows over here so I will give that a miss. I think the D pillars coded will look nice in any colour and it does make the Freelander look more solid

Am I missing something here? There isn't a picture of the black dash top, and other pics don't make sense to what is being discussed?
