Hi all,

New owner and have a question about the global window opening and closing that I can't quite understand.

Press and hold unlock and all the windows go down, but then press and hold lock and all bar the offside rear window go up. Has happened each time I've tried it and then I have to open the car again and close the window as normal.

Anyone have any idea what could have caused this? 58 plate model if that makes a difference.

Ironically was the same door that has just had the lock changed as it was sticking but can't imagine that would have caused an issue with the window?

the window that doesn't just needs setting

fully open it, then keep holding for a second or two, then fully close it, again holding the switch till its all the way up, and keep holding it, you will hear a slight click a few seconds later

this is how you enable one push opening, closing and this needs to be done to use the keyfob

try fob and see if its fixed Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Managed to reset the window last night so now all open and close together.

That'll teach me for trying to impress the wife when it was raining and having a window stay open for far longer than I expected!

Lesson learned, the wife is unable to be impressed

I'm guessing snow will be a rare event for you, take her off road somewhere, that will impress

Take her off road into Tesco then she will be impressed as they think blokes hate shopping.

In fairness we did have some really heavy snow 6 years ago....

I think our chance has all but disappeared this year!

A trip to Wales in May will hopefully yield some decent off road opportunities. Until then I have to rest in the knowledge that she is currently wholly unimpressed! (apart from the heated seats. She was very pleased with those!)
