England 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Loire Blue
Cooper Zeon XSTa

I'm about to get a set of new tyres for the wifes motor, at the moment it has 2 ditch finders with 6mm and 2 just starting to get noisey wranglers with 4mm ( one of which also has a nail in it ) the spare is a borderline legal wrangler.

I was going to go with wranglers because she had them on her FL1 and we were happy with their performance in all conditions, the only down side was the noise when they got down to around 4mm.

Looking round I can get Cooper Zeon XSTa for a fiver less than the wranglers, according to the label they are quieter with the same fuel and wet ratings. The Cooper website lists it as an all season.

Has anyone used them or know how they compare with wranglers.

I am open to suggestions for other tyres (17s) but as I can get these at £88.50 and wranglers at £94 they need to be available fitted for a max of £100 in S/Yorks area.

Thanks Alan Mine, Saab convertible
